Dignity, Courage and Humanity in the Midst of War

Physiotherapist Alberto Cairo’s prosthetic clinics in Afghanistan used to close down during active fighting.  Now, thanks to the bravery and dignity of the Afghan’s themselves, they now stay open.  Cairo tells the wonderful  story of how one man’s courage and humanity inspired him and changed the way he thought.  Cairo’s experience is so uplifting and moving, finding humanity and dignity in the midst of war and turmoil.  Here is his short presentation:
